Spring Cleaning? Try Spring Healing

Are you feeling the Spring energy? It's a LOT.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is the season of the Wood element. Wood qi, or energy, catalyzes the seemingly overnight budding of trees, and motivates us to spring clean a home, or start a new project.

Wood qi animates the liver and gallbladder, organs responsible for Spring cleaning our bodies (and all year round). Winter can be hard on the body with all its delicious heavy food and naps, so liver and gallbladder often need some extra support in Spring.

Signs your body needs a little help with spring cleaning:

-seasonal allergies

-colds

-digestive issues

-frustration or anger

-lack of motivation

-tired eyes

-headaches

-stiff joints

Get your body and qi moving to help with this transition, whether it's a hike, a massage, or eating some Spring produce. Just as you're recovering from a cold is a great time to come in for a massage.

Let's spring into Spring!
