When was the last time…?

When was the last time someone spent an hour tending solely to the needs and wants of your body?

It's a tall order these days, when only a lucky few of us get enough rest or self-care. It takes a lot of presence to tend well to our own bodies let alone have the capacity to tune in and care for someone else's body.

Times of sex and intimacy are when most of us get tender care, but even then our partners often get distracted by their own wants and needs.

Before a massage, one of my clients requests "neutral touch from someone who's not trying to have sex with me." A seemingly small request, but pretty monumental all things considered.

This is a time for radical self-care. When the world is full of unknowns, it's grounding to be present to the needs of our bodies.

Need some help grounding? Want some body tending? I have a new offering, Comforting Touch massage, for more spiritual and emotional needs of the body. Aka co-regulating and soothing touch for help with isolation, grief, and depression.

You deserve it :)
